Description

Where do you live?
Stratham, NH from Newburyport, MA originally and has spent time in Guam, CA, FLA as well as a short sting across the state line in York, ME. I always come back to the water.

Where do you work?
I’m a Licensed Realtor in NH & ME and currently studying for FLA license to assist buyers on the Gulf Coast.

Who is/was the biggest mentor in your life, and what did they teach you?
While my Father was a significant influence and a great provider for our family, my Grandfather and numerous uncles stepped in when my Dad was to busy working to do a lot of the father/son activities. I was very fortunate to have a great family dynamic growing up on the North Shore of Massachusetts and was able to participate in many different activities because of this.

How long have you been Stand Up Paddle Boarding?
While I have been kayaking for years and dabbled on a surfboard over the past couple of years, I had my first paddle last year.

Where is your favorite place to paddle?
I enjoy paddling the estuary areas of Great Bay. Vast, serene and full of natural beauty.

Why are you paddling to the Shoals for Big Brothers Big Sisters?
Although I have not had the fortune of time to dedicate to a little, I recognize the need for these kids to have mentors and goals. Paddling to the Shoals will make me one of the few (achieving my own goal) to do this, and show kids that dedication to a cause can make a significant difference in yourself as well as others.

Anything else you’d want our readers to know about you?
I am an active member of Rotary International (Portsmouth) as well as serving on the Board of Share Our Strength Seacoast and the Stratham Center Revitalization Committee. I feel a strong desire and need to “Give Where You Live” and have raised thousands of dollars as well as donated hundreds of hours to nonprofits over the years. I will be shaving my head again this June to support One Mission to assist family’s living with children suffering from childhood cancer.
