Where do you live?
I have spent most of my time in the White Mountains of NH before heading to the Seacoast about 9 years ago. I started in New Jersey and the Jersey Shore is where I developed my love for the ocean.
How did you get involved and why?
Since moving to the Seacoast I have been starring at the Isle of Shoals and wanting to paddle out there. When I heard about this team paddling out there I knew I had to at least ask about it. I didn’t want to be left on shore watching someone do something I wanted to do! I didn’t know it was a fundraiser at first. When I found out about that it just sealed the deal. I get to do something I like and raise money for the local Big Brothers Big Sisters! When I am not on the water, I coach junior ski racers, so it just made sense to get involved with Stand Up 4 Littles.
Where is your favorite place to paddle?
I don’t have a favorite place to paddle but I would say my favorite time is at sunset. Paddling in and watching the sun go down is a great way to end the day.
